2nd Chakra | Svadhisthana (Sacral)

  • Sva ~ Self
  • Adhisthana ~ Seat or dwelling place
  • Colour ~ Orange
  • Affirmation ~ I feel
  • Element ~ Water
  • Location ~ Pelvis, hips, lower belly
  • Mantra ~ Vam
  • Developmental Stage ~ 6 months to 2 years

The Sacral Chakra governs emotion, pleasure, sensuality, and creativity. It's our inner ocean — fluid, sensitive, and receptive. When this chakra is in balance, we feel connected to our emotions, able to experience pleasure, and flow with life. In today's practice, we move with softness and ease to honour your emotional body and its wisdom.

💫 Menopause & the Sacral Chakra

With fluctuating hormones, many women experience changes in libido, dryness, or emotional volatility. Supporting Svadhisthana helps reconnect to joy, sensuality, and the richness of feeling — even in this new phase of life.

🥬 Key Nutrients for Sacral Chakra Support

  • Omega 3 – Helps regulate mood and support vaginal health.
  • Fibre – Supports elimination of excess hormones.
  • Magnesium – Soothes tension and reduces cramping.

🔥 Journaling Prompts – Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana)

Creativity, pleasure, and feeling fully alive.

  • What brought me joy or sparked my senses today?
  • Where did I notice flow in my body or mind?
  • How do I relate to pleasure — am I comfortable with it?
  • What would it look like to give myself more permission to feel?

💧 The Sacral Chakra reminds us that feeling is not weakness — it's wisdom. Let yourself flow.
