💚 Day 4 – Heart Chakra (Anahata)

Heart Chakra - green energy at center of chest

4th Chakra | Anahata (Unstruck Sound)

  • Colour ~ Green
  • Element ~ Air
  • Location ~ Centre of the chest
  • Affirmation ~ I love | I am loved
  • Mantra ~ Yam
  • Developmental Stage ~ 4–7 years

Today we open the Heart Chakra — the centre of love, compassion, and connection. This energy centre helps us give and receive love — not just to others, but also to ourselves. Anahata teaches us that softening is not weakness; it's strength with open arms. On this day, we explore self-love, especially for our bodies — honouring ourselves through movement, rest, and presence.

💫 Menopause Connection

Menopause can shift our body image, relationships, and capacity for self-nurture. Anahata invites us to love the evolving self and reframe ageing as wisdom-gathering. By staying connected to the heart, we anchor into emotional resilience and body acceptance.

🥬 Menopause Nutrient Focus

Support your heart and hormones with:

  • Magnesium – Supports heart health and reduces stress
  • Omega-3s – Great for mood and cardiovascular health
  • Calcium and Vitamin D – Essential for bone density
  • Fibre – Supports balanced estrogen metabolism

🧘‍♀️ Yoga Poses for Anahata / Heart Chakra Unblocking

  • Camel Pose (Ustrasana) – Opens the front of the heart
  • Puppy Pose (Anahatasana) – Gentle heart opener
  • Bridge Pose (Setu Bandhasana) – Lifts and opens the chest
  • Cobra (Bhujangasana) with hands at heart level

💚 Journaling Prompts – Heart Chakra (Anahata)

Connection, compassion, and the courage to stay open.

  • Who here made me feel seen or safe today?
  • How can I open my heart even more gently?
  • What does true connection feel like to me?
  • In what ways do I nurture others? How am I being nurtured now?
  • What am I learning about love — from myself, from others?

💚 The heart doesn't need to be fixed. It needs to be felt.
